Part-Time Client and Placement Coordinator

Other Jobs To Apply (March 14, 2026):

First Choice Nannies is a boutique, full-service nanny agency based in Austin, Texas. We specialize in long-term nanny placements while also providing babysitters, event care, and corporate care services. We are currently seeking a highly organized, people-oriented Client and Placement Support Specialist to join our team in a very part-time capacity.

This role is ideal for someone looking for consistent supplemental income with flexible hours and meaningful work supporting families and caregivers.

Compensation and Hours

This position guarantees $300 per month for up to 20 hours of work per month, averaging about 5 hours per week.

Workload may fluctuate depending on season. Some weeks may require only minimal involvement, while other weeks may include increased activity such as handling multiple calls or conducting several interviews. The monthly guarantee remains consistent regardless of fluctuations within the 20-hour cap.

Core Responsibilities

  • Handling incoming phone calls from prospective families and candidates
  • Call volume varies throughout the year. There may be several weeks with little to no calls, followed by short periods of higher volume. Most inquiries come through email, so calls are typically manageable.
  • Responding to inquiries and guiding families through our placement process
  • Conducting virtual interviews with nanny candidates, typically 2 to 3 per week during busier seasons
  • Supporting candidate onboarding and ensuring all required documentation is completed properly
  • Representing the agency professionally when speaking with new families and caregivers
  • Occasionally making relationship-building or marketing calls to local businesses and community partners
  • Gaining a deep understanding of how our agency operates, including our placement structure and service packages

Duties may vary depending on season and business needs. Flexibility and adaptability are important in this role.

Ideal Schedule Fit

This role could be an excellent fit for a homeschool mom with older, more independent children who understand that if a client call comes in, it needs to be answered promptly. Because call volume is typically manageable and predictable, this position allows for flexibility while still requiring professionalism and reliability during active moments.

Optional Growth Opportunity

For someone interested in learning the agency thoroughly, there is potential for additional commission-based income through managing placements after completing training. This is completely optional but available for those who want to grow within the company.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has strong communication and people skills
  • Is confident speaking with families and professionals
  • Is organized and detail-oriented
  • Can work independently and manage time well
  • Is comfortable learning systems and processes
  • Has previous experience working with children or families, ideally in a professional setting
  • Understands the importance of discretion, professionalism, and relationship-building

Experience in childcare, education, family services, or household staffing is strongly preferred.

This position is perfect for someone who enjoys meaningful, relationship-driven work and wants to be part of a boutique agency that values quality over quantity.
