- Research and surface trends spanning fashion, street style, music, art, design, beauty, gaming, nightlife, technology, wellness, digital culture, and evolving consumer behaviors.
- Track conversations and visual language across social platforms, creator communities, online forums, independent publications, and cultural events.
- Pull, organize, and annotate visual references, articles, imagery, social content, and cultural examples that can directly inform the brand’s Color & Concept team.
- Synthesize large volumes of information into clear, digestible insights, highlighting why a trend matters, where it's emerging, and how it may evolve.
- Deliver research in a visually organized, editorially driven format that is easy for designers and creative teams to reference.
- Stay ahead of cultural conversations by maintaining a constant pulse on both niche subcultures and broader societal shifts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or related experience in: Trend Forecasting, Fashion Journalism or Fashion Editorial
- Creative research or cultural strategy
- Brand strategy or consumer insights within fashion, luxury, or lifestyle
- Deep, authentic understanding of culture and emerging movements—not just viral moments, but the communities and behaviors driving them.
- Exceptional research instincts with the ability to identify patterns across diverse cultural sources.
- Strong editorial eye and visual taste with an understanding of contemporary fashion, design, and aesthetics.
- Comfortable working independently, navigating ambiguity, and defining research paths without rigid briefs.
- Highly organized with excellent documentation skills.
- Strong written communication and storytelling abilities, capable of translating observations into clear cultural insights.
- Familiarity with platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Discord, Reddit, Substack, independent magazines, and emerging digital spaces.
