Wesley Hospital is seeking a dedicated Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join their Pediatric team. This role involves providing comprehensive medical care for pediatric patients within the hospital's Pediatric Units, with potential coverage in the Pediatric Faculty Clinic. The APRN will work collaboratively with pediatric faculty, ensuring high-quality patient care and contributing to daily patient presentations and care planning.

Responsibilities
Carry out delegated medical processes and procedures when a licensed physician is immediately available, performing independent life-saving medical procedures during patient emergencies.
Perform all medical chart documentation with physician oversight and complete all billing and medical records documentation within thirty (30) business days.
Collaborate on an ongoing basis with the supervising physician to discuss and review the hospital course and plan of care for each patient.
Participate in daily formal presentation of patient problems, evaluation, and plan of care with the attending pediatrician and resident team.
Obtain necessary patient history, perform admission physical examinations, and initiate/complete all necessary forms to document and facilitate care.
Formulate patient care diagnoses and goals, develop a plan of care in collaboration with the attending physician, and order/interpret laboratory, radiographic, and other diagnostic data.
Perform diagnostic procedures including vein or artery puncture and lumbar puncture, and initiate/direct support of the respiratory system.
Establish and maintain contact with families, communicating patient problems, status, and plans, and initiate/continue discharge planning.
