Compass Cryogenics is seeking a Medical Gas Installer (ASSE 6010) to support a growing portfolio of healthcare and medical manufacturing projects throughout Michigan, Ohio, and surrounding Midwest states. This role includes a unique opportunity to support production work with a major medical equipment manufacturer in addition to field-based healthcare facility installations, repairs, and upgrades. This position may evolve into a primarily site-based role at a major manufacturing facility in Southeast Michigan, with additional regional work as needed.

Install medical gas and instrument air piping systems Perform brazing and mechanical piping installation Install compressors, dryers, filtration, and related equipment Install flexible piping and vibration isolation components Work within mobile medical trailer systems and modular environments Support production installation in manufacturing environments Perform field installation and repair work in hospitals and healthcare facilities Assist with equipment troubleshooting and system improvements Work collaboratively with engineering and manufacturing teams Travel occasionally within Michigan, Ohio, and surrounding Midwest states ASSE 6010 Certified Medical Gas Installer (Required) ~3+ years medical gas installation experience preferred ~ Experience with copper piping, brazing, and mechanical piping systems ~ Ability to read mechanical drawings and layouts ~ Experience in healthcare environments Experience in manufacturing or production environments Experience with mobile medical systems or modular construction Experience with Lokring or mechanical fittings Full-time position Overtime opportunities available Paid holidays Health care reimbursement / stipend All travel expenses covered Company-provided tools and equipment Professional training opportunities Career growth opportunities Combination of manufacturing facility and healthcare environments Occasional travel within Midwest region Long-term project stability Compass Cryogenics provides medical gas verification, installation, inspection, and compliance services to healthcare facilities and medical manufacturers throughout the Midwest and Northeast.
