ARAMARK is seeking a dependable and experienced Custodial Supervisor (Floor Care) to support our Education / Teaching / Administration clients within the Facilities & Maintenance department. In this role, you will oversee daily custodial operations with a strong focus on floor care services in a school or campus environment, ensuring clean, safe, and attractive learning spaces for students, staff, and visitors. You will lead a team of custodial staff responsible for maintaining hard surface floors, carpets, and high-traffic areas using industry-standard procedures and equipment.
Drawing on your expertise in stripping and waxing, buffing, burnishing, scrubbing, and carpet extraction, you will plan and direct work routines, conduct quality inspections, and uphold ARAMARK’s standards of appearance, safety, and customer service.
The Custodial
Supervisor (Floor Care) will coordinate schedules, assign tasks, and verify completion of daily, periodic, and project-based floor care work. You will train and coach frontline employees on proper equipment operation, chemical use, and safe work practices, reinforcing OSHA guidelines and site-specific safety requirements. You will maintain accurate records of work performed, inspections, incidents, and supply usage, while monitoring inventory levels for floor finishes, cleaners, and other custodial supplies.
Working closely with facilities management, school administrators, and other ARAMARK team members, you will support special events, seasonal projects, and emergency cleanups, adapting plans as needed to meet changing priorities.
