Essential Responsibilities:

  • Carry out patient care activities as outlined in the skills checklist.

  • Maintain clear and professional communication with patients, healthcare team members, external agencies, and the public.

Education:

Currently enrolled in an ACEN or CCNE accredited Registered Nurse program with at least one full year of clinical nursing completed.

Experience:

Completion of one full year of clinical nursing experience as part of the nursing program.

Licenses and Certifications:

Must obtain a current BLS/CPR certification from an approved provider within 30 days of hire or by the end of orientation.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to apply patient care principles.
  • Openness to instruction, feedback, and constructive criticism.

Physical Requirements:

This role may require occasional heavy lifting up to 100 lbs and frequent exertion up to 20 lbs. Standing or walking may be required for 51-75% of the workday.
