Job Description:

  • Improves quality products and services by using measurement and analysis to process, evaluate, and make recommendations to meet objectives.
  • Coordinates the plan's prevention and wellness activities specifically designed to promote the importance and benefits of accessing timely preventive and well care through targeted member/provider education and outreach initiatives.
  • Participates in the development and ongoing implementation of QM work plan activities.
  • This position may also include community outreach and public relations activities, as assigned.
  • Assists with establishing and implementing results-based programs and innovative initiatives for the Prevention & Wellness area, under general supervision.
  • Applies in-depth knowledge of the Prevention & Wellness field to offer feedback for decisions and innovation strategies that enhance organizational growth and visibility.
  • Develops, implements, and assures the ongoing coordination of designated prevention and wellness activities outlined within the quality improvement and work plan.
  • Evaluates, analyzes, reports on and records outcomes of the scheduled prevention and wellness interventions.
  • Organizes special or pilot health education interventions to target specific population initiatives.
  • Monitors overall performance against state and federal standards for health education and preventative care and recommending options for improving performance.
  • Elevate all significant issues/concerns to the Quality Manager as appropriate
  • Identifies potential resources and initiates collaboration with providers/ members to improve member health outcomes and HEDIS measures
  • Produces and distributes quarterly community newsletters.
  • Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Must reside in Oklahoma
  • 3+ years of recent and related program management, outreach, and/or health education experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to envision and propose new methods to perform tasks; take thoughtful risks; and accept new and ongoing initiatives, objectives, and solutions to gain sought-after results.
  • Ability to anticipate and embrace change; demonstrate willingness to achieve, acquire, and utilize new skills and challenging tasks; and is flexible in changing conditions.
  • Ability to engage positively with multiple groups and various stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
  • Working knowledge of business intelligence
  • Ability to execute tasks with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and must be able to always maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Ability to work with ethnically, culturally, and socially diverse members.
  • 2+ years’ experience using personal computers, keyboard navigation, navigating multiple systems and applications; and using MS Office Suite applications (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Must possess reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel up to 25% in-state, based on business needs. Mileage is reimbursed per our company expense reimbursement policy.
