Sustainability Associate - Donations

About the position

Responsibilities

• Provides general administration, word processing, data entry and filing support as required.
• Supports the development and delivery of Sustainability reporting, including internal and external benchmarking, aligning with key stakeholders, data collection, and development of ALDI's action plans.
• Acts as a liaison for the Buying department regarding Sustainability-related issues.
• Maintains and improves organization of research and media monitoring for Sustainability trends and competitor activity, sharing and discussing findings with the team.
• Develops knowledge and understanding of Sustainability topics and industry trends proactively.
• Researches and analyzes multiple information sources.
• Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader.
• Complies with ALDI privacy and security requirements and policies if job responsibilities include possible access to confidential and/or sensitive information.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Business, Economics, Sustainability or a related field required.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required.
• Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.

Benefits

• Starting Wage: \$30.75 per hour
• Wage Increases: Year 2 - \$31.75 | Year 3 - \$33.25 | Year 4 - \$34.75
• Eligible to participate in ALDI's Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week.
