Job Role Description
We are looking for a skilled SEO Content Writer to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing, a strong understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) principles, and the ability to create engaging content that drives traffic and increases our online visibility.
Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research to identify relevant topics and optimize content for search engines.
- Write and edit high-quality SEO-friendly content for our website, blog, social media, and other digital platforms.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with our business goals and target audience.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and best practices to ensure our content remains competitive.
- Monitor and analyze website traffic and engagement metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Optimize existing content for SEO and make recommendations for enhancements.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure content accuracy and consistency across all channels.
- Assist in developing content calendars and schedules to meet deadlines and project milestones.
- Proofread and edit content to ensure it meets quality standards and brand guidelines.
- Continuously evaluate and refine content strategies based on performance metrics and feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an SEO Content Writer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of published articles and web content.
- Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to adapt writing style and tone based on target audience and platform.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Moz.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive content decisions.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
