Are you a highly organised and passionate individual looking to make a tangible difference in the lives of children? An established NGO focused on feeding schemes is seeking a dedicated Project Support Administrator to join the team on a half-day, 6-month contract. This role is primarily work-from-home, but requires regular travel to schools within informal settlements in the Stellenbosch / Helderberg region.
As the Project Administrator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the feeding schemes. You'll be responsible for providing essential administrative and project support, maintaining accurate data, and fostering strong relationships with the schools they serve. Your work will directly contribute to improving the well-being and educational outcomes of vulnerable children.
Responsibilities:
Administrative Support: Manage and maintain project documentation, records, and filing systems (both digital and physical).
Data Management: Accurately capture and update data related to feeding schemes, beneficiaries, and school visits.
Project Coordination: Assist with the coordination of project activities, including scheduling school visits and communicating with relevant stakeholders.
School Visits: Regularly travel to schools within informal settlements to build relationships, assess needs, and ensure the effective implementation of feeding schemes.
Communication: Serve as a key point of contact for schools, addressing queries and providing timely updates.
Reporting: Assist with the preparation of reports on project progress and outcomes.
Requirements
