In order to continue our growth story, we are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager with a Chemical Engineering focus to join our innovative team. In this role, you will play a vital part in designing, developing, and optimizing chemical processes within manufacturing environments. Your expertise will drive efficiency, ensure compliance with industry standards, and support the successful scaling of products from laboratory concepts to full-scale production. Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine chemical processes by leveraging principles of chemistry, process engineering, and manufacturing controls to improve efficiency and product quality.
  • Manage project schedules effectively by coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring timely completion of engineering milestones.
  • Conduct laboratory experiments and analyze data to validate process modifications or new product formulations.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and enhance productivity across production lines.
  • Use data analytics tools to monitor process performance, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to scale laboratory processes into full-scale production while maintaining safety and quality standards.
  • Contribute to project management activities by preparing documentation, timelines, risk assessments, and progress reports.
  • Stay current with advancements in quantum chemical process innovations and industry best practices to bring cutting-edge solutions into the organization.
  • Up to 25% travel

Experience

  • Proven experience in chemical engineering within a manufacturing or industrial setting is essential.
  • Strong laboratory background with hands-on experience in process validation and chemical analysis.
  • Experience managing projects using project scheduling tools and methodologies to meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Skilled in process engineering techniques including data analytics for process optimization and troubleshooting.
  • Practical understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), automation systems, and control strategies used in manufacturing operations.
  • Background in chemistry or chemical engineering with strong math skills supporting complex calculations related to process design and analysis.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to emerging technologies.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
